Well known to audiences throughout the Chicagoland area Dave is a popular guest at hundreds of schools, preschools, libraries, fairs and festivals each year. Dave is also a frequent performer at Chicago’s Navy Pier. In addition to his own company Dave has made several appearances as a guest artist with Chicago’s famed Hystopolis productions, and made his New York stage debut with the company in 1991 at off Broadway’s acclaimed Public Theater.

Dave Herzog’s Marionettes is a full time professional puppet company specializing in the art of the marionette, and dedicated to preserving the uniquely American art form of the marionette variety show. Not only does Dave perform over 350 shows a year but has also hand crafted all of the beautiful hand carved marionettes used in his performances.

Dave Herzog is a member of the Puppeteers of America and the Chicagoland Puppetry Guild.
