Dave Herzog's Marionettes proudly presents a brand new production, Dragon Days and Knight Time. COme with us to merry olde England as the royal court of King Percy the Persnickety celebrates his majesty's birthday. Ambassadors from around the world have arrived to entertain his highness in royal style. Young and old alike will enjoy performances by Pierrote the French mime on the tight rope, Frederick Von Drops Alot the German juggler, Wong Loo the Chinese acrobat, Ekaterina Flysonova the Russian trapeze artiste. Snork the roller skating baby dragon, Sir Falls Apart the worlds most cowardly knight in shining armor, and George and Martha (Snork's Mom and Dad the two headed dragon). Dave Herzog has been delighting audiences around the country for 37 years with his musical marionette variety shows, and is a regular guest at hundreds of Chicago area Libraries, Schools and Summer Camps as well as serving on the entertainment roster at world famous Navy Pier for sixteen years. PUPPET SOUP

Join Chef Wolfgang Von Puppenspiel as he cooks up a tasty batch of puppet soup. This deliciously delectable marionette variety show will feature a menu of performances by Carmen Ensalada a spicy South American dish, Chicago Red a fellow whose a real hot dogger on roller blades, Candy Delight a spun sugar treat on the flying trapeze, Kit N. Kaboodle in his never ending quest for the perfect piece of bread and butter, Lisel Und Günter Weiner Schnitzel the Oktober Fest Ompa Dancers, and many more. As always our signature character Wally the Basset Hound will be along to share in the fun as the boys and girls help him find his lost Bratwurst.

Mad Scientist Boris Von Puppenspiel and Frankie Monster are back, and they’ve brought their friends with them to celebrate Halloween in Style. Don’t miss the antics of Rip Reaper and the bone brigade, Count Dracula Von Tippie Toes, Scare E. Crow, Jack O Lantern and a whole gallery of ghastly ghoulies as they present a kooky not to spooky Halloween theemed marionette variety show.

OktoberFest!

Puppeteer Dave Herzog , the son of German immigrant Frederick William  [Fritz] Herzog who came to America in 1932 celebrates his German heritage with a brilliant new marionette variety show dedicated to the joyous celebration know as OktoberFest!

Join Celebrated German Chef Wolfgang Von Hasenpfeffer as he dished out a full course serving of Bavarian delights. Included in our OktoberFest! menu will be performances by Lisel und Günter the Oom Pah Dancers, Frederick Wilhelm, Von Drops A  Lot the Jesting German Juggler, Ernst Von Flugen Jugen the famous German roller skater, Gustov Von Falls Off the Alpine tightrope walker, Klaus Von Runds Klein, the Black forest Wunderkind, and Bruno Von Schelp on the Flugen Trapeze. Our beloved signature character Walter the Basset Hound will be along to greet the audience as he searches for his lost Bratwurst.
